Huge Mug or Stein - Persimmon

This is a mug for the serious coffee drinker, or use as a beer stein. It has a capacity of 24 fluid ounces. It is 5 inches high, and 6 1/2 inches wide at the handle. The main cup is 4 1/2 inches in diameter.

This cup was made using a combination of wheel throwing and hand building techniques which allow for the unique design (the wood pattern) and shape.
