The Nuclear Family - Dad

This piece is part of a series titled "The Nuclear Family." The series was made originally to enter a show with the parameters of showing the artist's culture. I have always felt a little strange because my culture is the "upwardly mobile, middle class, suburban, white family." (Almost like what you see on TV) Of course not all families are as pristine as they may appear. Look for the explosion under the surface.

This Dad. With his wing-tips and pinstripe, he could have come right out of "Father Knows Best."

He is 7.5inches tall and 7 inches in diameter.
